Using ChatGPT to Track Physiotherapy Appointments and Recovery in Singapore

It can be difficult to remember everything that happens between physiotherapy appointments.
ChatGPT can be used to organise notes you provide into an appointment list, recovery diary and summary to discuss with your physiotherapist.
As of Oct 5 2026, OpenAI has introduced a connected Health experience. (Not released in Singapore yet!). For people considering physiotherapy in Singapore, it is useful to understand the difference between that feature and a manually maintained ChatGPT diary.
Is ChatGPT Health available in Singapore?
As of 5 October 2026, we have not found a publicly announced Singapore release date in the official OpenAI material reviewed. The current Health in ChatGPT help page lists eligibility for adults in the US on Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans, with access on web and iOS.
OpenAI's July 2026 launch announcement also describes a US rollout. Neither source provides a Singapore launch timetable. Readers should check the current eligibility guidance rather than assume that access to ordinary ChatGPT includes the connected Health feature.
Singapore patients can still use a manual workflow: enter selected appointment details and observations, then ask ChatGPT to organise them. This does not require a connection to a hospital record system or wearable.
What does the connected Health feature do?
According to OpenAI, Health can use information from supported connected sources to help users review changes and prepare for appointments.
Its launch announcement describes bringing health information together and using it to provide context across conversations. Supported connections and account eligibility are subject to the current product guidance.
For physiotherapy, this suggests a possible future role in organising information between visits. It does not establish that AI tracking improves rehabilitation outcomes, and it should not be presented as a validated physiotherapy monitoring programme.
Using ChatGPT as an appointment tracker
Start with a simple appointment list based on your clinic's confirmation messages. Include the date, time, clinic location, physiotherapist and anything the clinic has asked you to bring or prepare.
Keep the clinic's confirmation and your own calendar as the reference for attendance. A table in a chat is a written record; it should not be assumed to send reminders, book appointments or tell the clinic about changes. Set a calendar reminder separately and contact the clinic directly if you need to reschedule.
After each visit, you can add a short note covering what was discussed, the exercises prescribed and the next review date. If you are unsure what an instruction means, ask your physiotherapist to clarify it before relying on an AI interpretation.
What to record between physiotherapy sessions
Choose a manageable diary format with your physiotherapist. You do not need to record every sensation throughout the day. A short entry can capture observations that you want to discuss:
Preparing a summary for your next appointment
Before your follow-up session, ask ChatGPT to turn your notes into a concise summary:
Using only the dated entries below, prepare a summary for my physiotherapy appointment. Include symptoms I recorded, activities that became easier or harder, prescribed exercises completed, and questions to discuss. Keep observations separate from possible explanations. Do not diagnose, change my exercise plan or decide whether I am ready for sport. Highlight gaps and contradictions for me to check.
Our guide to what happens during your first physiotherapy session explains the discussion and assessment involved.
Privacy when recording health information
Before entering information, consider what is necessary for your diary. Avoid including identifiers such as NRIC numbers, home addresses or unrelated details from medical documents. Review the current privacy and memory settings for the account you use.
Ordinary ChatGPT conversations have their own data controls.
OpenAI explains that users can turn off “Improve the model for everyone” under Settings > Data controls to exclude new conversations from model improvement.
Its model-training guidance also explains that temporary chats stay out of chat history and do not create or update memories while they remain temporary. That makes them less suitable as the only copy of an ongoing diary.
The connected Health feature has separate protections described in its help page. Those protections should not be assumed to apply to health information manually entered into an ordinary conversation. Keep your own copy of important notes and share only the checked summary you intend your physiotherapist to receive.
What could Singapore patients expect next?
There is no confirmed local launch date in the sources reviewed. The following are possibilities to watch, rather than announced Singapore features:
Local eligibility: whether OpenAI adds Singapore to the supported regions.
Supported connections: whether local provider records or relevant health apps become available. Local product access would not automatically mean support for every hospital or clinic.
More convenient summaries: connected activity information could provide additional context for discussions between visits, if the relevant data is available and the user permits access.
Clearer controls: patients would need to understand what information is shared, how it is used and how to disconnect it.
These possibilities follow from the connected approach described in OpenAI's launch announcement. They are not a confirmed roadmap for Singapore, HealthHub or MoveMed integration.
Bringing your tracker to a MoveMed appointment
If you use ChatGPT to organise your recovery notes, bring a short, checked summary to your next visit. Include the changes you noticed, questions you want answered and activities you hope to return to.
MoveMed provides physiotherapy in Singapore at Novena and Orchard for pain, injury and recovery. Your notes can provide context for the consultation, alongside the assessment and rehabilitation guidance from your physiotherapist.
ChatGPT is not intended for diagnosis or treatment. For urgent symptoms or an emergency, seek immediate professional help rather than waiting for an AI response or your next physiotherapy appointment.
