Personalised rehabilitation for confident everyday movement
Kristyn Kong is a Senior Physiotherapist with a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and a background in Exercise Science. Her experience spans hospitals, day rehabilitation centres, musculoskeletal clinics and home therapy settings.
She has particular experience supporting patients through orthopaedic rehabilitation, geriatric physiotherapy and functional recovery. This includes helping people rebuild strength, mobility and independence following injury, surgery, illness or changes in physical ability.
Kristyn takes a client-centred approach to care, tailoring rehabilitation around each person's needs, goals and daily circumstances. She aims to make treatment both effective and enjoyable while helping patients take an active role in their recovery.
“Rehabilitation should help you understand your progress, take ownership of your recovery and move towards the goals that matter most in your everyday life.”
Rehabilitation shaped around the person, not only the condition
Kristyn takes a client-centred approach to physiotherapy, recognising that each person enters rehabilitation with different physical abilities, priorities and circumstances.
Treatment plans are tailored around meaningful goals and designed to help patients understand their rehabilitation, participate actively and gradually take greater ownership of their progress.

Kristyn works with patients across clinical, functional and home-based rehabilitation settings.

Rebuilding movement following injury or surgery
Kristyn has experience supporting orthopaedic patients across hospitals, day rehabilitation centres, clinics and home-based environments.
Rehabilitation may involve restoring mobility, gradually rebuilding strength and helping the patient return to the everyday tasks and activities that are important to them.
Supporting mobility, confidence and independence
Kristyn has developed a strong understanding of the needs of older adults and patients whose rehabilitation goals extend beyond treating a single injury.
Care may focus on improving strength, balance, walking, transfers and the ability to manage everyday activities safely and independently.

Care connected to the realities of everyday life
